Too good to be true.

That render is sweet! I’m a little confused though because the GT is supposed to be an A7 sized 4-door coupe. I keep hearing about a compact 4-series GC style car. I’m pretty sure it’s the larger one though (smaller than the Genesis Sedan). That way it falls in between the compact Genesis G70 and the Genesis G80 (current Genesis Sedan). It also gives Kia a flagship that can replace the K900 and show off sporty and luxury while fitting LeBron in it for commercials.

Me too Mulder, but it's been five years.

So wait, is this like the Stinger or something totally different? I’ve seen the GT4 Stinger Concept at a few auto shows and I would drive the hell outta that thing. It’s gorgeous.

Oh sorry this is a big 4-door. Looks pretty good. But I still want the Stinger as stated above. This has not changed.

Yeah it’s more like a budget Panamera/Rapide.

The GT is definitely a 4 door “coupe”, I don’t think it’s supposed to replace the k900, it’s something else. Something larger than the current Genesis Coupe.

So according to the article it’ll likely maintain the K900 dimensions. Hardly a svelte sports car.

Well it’s a 4 door “GT Coupe”, and those cars aren’t that small. See in comparison to the k900. Plus both Genesis are already a bit smaller, so we know the same platform can work for smaller cars.
K900 : Wheelbase : 119.9 in, Length : 200.6 in, Width : 74.8 in
Panamera : Wheelbase 114.2 in, Length 195.7 in, Width 76 in
Rapide : Wheelbase 117.6 in, Length 197.6, Width 84.3 in

“Well it’s a 4 door “GT Coupe”
This nonsense needs to stop, I blame BMW.

I thought it was Mercedes who did that shit first. I hate it too.
If it’s a 4-door sports sedan with a hatch, why can’t they just call it a sportsback and be done with it?

It certainly is the Germans fault. I just find BMWs naming scheme to be especially annoying.
